2025 marks the tenth season of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We are committed to challenging the status quo and invite you to join us.

General Summary:

This role reports to the Deputy Chief Designer & Structure and is based in Maranello, Italy. It involves structural design and analysis of F1 chassis components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
• Analyze and optimize car components for weight, reliability, safety, and stiffness.
• Use methods including hand calculations, Finite Element Analysis, and scripting for analysis and optimization.
• Focus on composite components such as chassis, gearbox, wings, and suspensions.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed at all venues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:

Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred. At least 5 years of engineering experience, including 3 in motorsports.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Deep understanding of FE methods and limitations.
• Ability to work under stress and meet high standards.
• Decisiveness and analytical problem-solving skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Ability to prioritize in a high-pressure setting, with potential travel and long hours. Mainly office-based, with some testing supervision. Physical demands include lifting, bending, and manual dexterity. Work involves machinery, race cars, and hazardous fluids. Compliance with safety policies is required.
