Job summary

The Boeing Company in Prestwick, Scotland, is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Aerospace Innovation Centre. You will deliver expert structural analysis leadership, integrating across design, R&D, systems and test teams in a rapid design, build and test environment.

Responsibilities include leading structural requirement development, coordinating with engineering groups, and applying analytical methods/finite element models to verify integrity and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Nine or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the design.
• Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and finite element models/simulations.
• Lead development of test plans and configurations, support test execution and analyze results.
• Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.
