Job summary

ESNEFT is seeking an experienced nurse to develop as a senior staff nurse/stroke specialist on the Stroke Unit at Colchester Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality stroke/TIA care within a 24/7 hyper-acute stroke pathway on a rota.

You will contribute to patient flow, implement National Clinical guidelines, and work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. Demonstrated leadership and teaching capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to make safe and rapid clinical judgments in emergencies.
• Desire to develop stroke clinical skills and knowledge.
• Evidence of teaching, mentoring and supporting staff.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
