National Energy System Operator Limited (NESO) is seeking a strategic leader to head the Capacity Market and Contracts for Difference policy work. You will shape evidence-based positions, translate complex policy into clear requirements, and advise senior leaders on risks, opportunities and delivery options.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading Strategy or Policy development in a complex, regulated environment.
• Interpreting legislation, regulation and technical evidence into clear advice and options.
• Influencing senior stakeholders and building cross-government relationships.
• Leading and developing people, setting direction and delivering priorities.
• Producing high-quality governance papers and briefings for senior audiences.

• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing Strategy and Policy team with clear priorities.
• Act as an active member of the Delivery Body and Markets leadership community.
• Shape and coordinate NESO policy positions, consultation responses and submissions.
• Translate policy into requirements and implementation plans with various teams.
• Build trusted relationships with DESNZ, Ofgem, and industry to influence policy development.
