Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join the Retail Vertical Growth team and shape the future of global commerce. You will own strategic initiatives across NORAM, EMEA, APAC and LATAM, creating thought leadership and driving commercial outcomes.

The role requires 3+ years in a Tier 1 payments organisation and 2+ years in retail, with strong public speaking and networking abilities to influence stakeholders across a global company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a Tier 1 payments organisation.
• 2+ years’ experience in a retail business.
• Strong communication skills for panels, webinars and events.
• Payments or financial services experience desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree preferrable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute and support the development of a commercial strategy for the Retail vertical, across priority markets in NORAM, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
• Create collateral and content to articulate thought leadership and position Global Payments as an influencer within the vertical.
• Coordinate and drive execution of strategic commercial initiatives to grow the vertical.
• Support regional Business Development and Relationship Management teams with tactical requests including participation in customer meetings, RFPs, developing target lists, informing on vertical trends.
• Leverage data and analyse trends to drive innovation across our product roadmap, acting as the voice of the customer for target industries.
• Support a team of strategy and marketing professionals to win as one team, driving the strategic agenda for the retail vertical.
• Develop a strong internal network of key stakeholders including BD, Relationship Management, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance.

What you’ll own

• Contribute and support the development of a commercial strategy for the Retail vertical, across priority markets in our four regions: NORAM, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
• Create collateral and content that can be used to articulate our thought leadership to continue to position Global Payments as an influencer within the vertical.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years’ experience working within a Tier 1 payments organisation
• 2+ years’ expertise within a retail business.
• Intermediate communication skills including speaking in panels, webinars and on stage at events, and a natural networker.
• Payments or other financial services experience desirable
• Bachelor’s degree preferrable.
