Cancer Research UK is seeking a senior Professional to lead Strategic Workforce Planning and shape the People Plan to align workforce capabilities with future organizational needs. The role collaborates with HR, People Analytics, and Finance to drive evidence-based decisions.

The position is based in Stratford, London on a 6-month fixed-term contract with 35 hours per week, offering hybrid working with 1–2 days in the office and some home-based flexibility.

Qualificações

• Senior People Strategy, Planning & Performance experience in transformation environments.
• Experience leading or shaping People Plans, HR strategy delivery, governance forums and executive reporting.
• Demonstrable ability to translate business strategy into workforce and capability plans.
• Strong understanding of how Strategic Workforce Planning connects with HRBP, People Analytics and Finance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Strategic Workforce Planning across Cancer Research UK, supporting HR to run planning cycles.
• Translate workforce scenarios into risks, opportunities and recommendations for long-term decisions.
• Define and monitor critical roles, capabilities and skills to inform build-buy-move strategies.
• Own and drive delivery of the People Plan roadmap with governance and progress reporting.
• Partner with People Analytics, HRBPs, Finance to ensure insights support decisions.
• Build planning and performance governance to improve delivery and accountability.
