Zusammenfassung

Trafford Council is seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Officer to contribute to the Trafford Local Plan and related masterplanning, housing and employment evidence, and transport policy. You will lead policy development, collaborate with partners, and drive strategic planning initiatives across Greater Manchester.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent qualification required.
• At least 3 years' experience in a planning role.
• Good understanding of planning legislation, policy and transport strategies.
• Experience with development plan preparation, examination processes and housing land supply would be beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Create, prepare and implement planning policies and transport strategies from strategic to local level.
• Lead on elements of policy and strategy creation and provide guidance to stakeholders.
• Work with colleagues, consultants and partner organisations across GM on plan-making.
• Support Local Plan delivery and evidence preparation for examination.
