The Role: We are seeking talented procurement experts with proven success in Category, Commodity, and/or Project Purchasing. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge and experience to source equipment and materials that are fit for purpose, achieving the best possible commercial terms aligned with the business strategy. The role requires a hands-on attitude and experience in developing holistic procurement strategies to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

• Lead all procurement activities.
• Identify and source components and systems that best fit the technical and commercial requirements of the vehicle and operations.
• Prepare, coordinate, and execute sourcing decisions for selected commodities, ensuring cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Procurement.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure balanced commercial terms, considering technical feasibility, volume demands, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
• Meet project targets related to material and tooling costs and timelines.
• Monitor the global supply market for changes affecting our business.
• Develop and align category strategies across multiple functions, considering market developments and internal needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks in the supply chain of the selected categories.
• Manage raw material fluctuations with suppliers and across commodities.
• Work closely with Engineering, Commercial, and Industrialization teams to plan future demand, materials, and equipment.
• Network within the wider INEOS organization to maximize group leverage.

What you will bring:

• Experience in categories such as EE, Powertrain, Interiors, Exteriors, Accessories, Body, or Chassis.
• Knowledge of procurement from concept through industrialization to operation.
• Strong project management skills with a record of successful delivery.
• Experience building and maintaining senior supplier relationships.
• Strategic procurement experience and/or New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Effective task prioritization, time management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is desirable (training available).
• Fluent English; German skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
