Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Doncaster team. The role focuses on steel-framed structures, canopy designs, and full project delivery from concept to installation within a Design & Build contractor setting.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Eurocodes/British Standards, post-graduate years in structural engineering, and a strong background in steel connections and large-span projects. Office-based in Doncaster.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of post-graduate structural engineering experience.
Strong steelwork design experience for large open-span structures.
Experience with Design & Build/contractor environments is essential.
Chartered status or working towards chartered status advantageous.

Responsibilities

Undertake structural design and detailed calculations for steel-framed structures.
Design steel connections and related structural elements.
Create designs for large open-span steel structures, canopies and buildings.
Deliver designs from concept through manufacture and installation.
Ensure compliance with Eurocodes and British Standards.
Review drawings and technical information and provide guidance to the team.
Attend client and project meetings and support bidding and pre-construction stages.
