Zusammenfassung

RNLI is seeking a Station Technician/Senior Station Technician at Fishguard Lifeboat Station to maintain the ALB Trent and support day-to-day station operations.

You will lead and train volunteers, drive safety and ENV improvements, manage records, respond to emergencies, and engage with the local community to promote the station’s lifesaving work. A strong mechanical/electrical background and leadership are essential; willingness to live nearby and be on call 24/7 is required.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 4 / SVQ Level 5 in engineering or time served apprenticeship.
• Engineering background with mechanical/electrical/electronic expertise.
• Willing to progress towards RNLI ALB Afloat Mechanic pathway.

Aufgaben

• Inspire and motivate the team; support development and shore-based training.
• Run day-to-day Lifeboat Station tasks; manage records and liaise with Operations.
• Lead on Quality, Safety, Health and Environment, promoting a positive culture.
• Engage with the public to explain the station's lifesaving work.
