Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager for the UK offshore wind portfolio, with a Ramsgate focus. You will act as the main liaison to communities, promote two-way dialogue, and shape engagement and communications strategies to maximize social value alongside technical project success.

You will drive local engagement activities, build lasting relationships with schools, associations, local businesses, and residents, and align with internal teams to ensure sustainable

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field and strong stakeholder engagement experience.
• Experience designing and delivering communications and outreach strategies.
• Solid experience engaging communities on large infrastructure or sustainability projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; public speaking ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and coordinate the Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Strategy for Ramsgate offshore sites.
• Lead the UK portfolio strategy for engagement across Barrow-in-Furness and Aberdeen.
• Be the main contact for local communities and stakeholders in Ramsgate.
• Organize and attend community engagement activities, events, talks and site visits.
• Collaborate with site management, Consenting, and Regional Support teams.
• Champion internal participation in external engagement and social impact initiatives.
• Share site stories with regional and international comms and Stakeholder Engagement colleagues.
• Maintain relationships and community programmes including funds and education initiatives.
