Job summary

Stripe, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager for Risk to lead cross‑Risk and cross‑Stripe initiatives that transform how Stripe and users manage risk. You’ll define solutions to ambiguous problems, drive execution from initial shaping to delivery and adoption.

You will collaborate with Risk leadership to shape strategy, mentor PMs, and elevate product thinking across Stripe while guiding teams through complex technical and product decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: track record of identifying and delivering high‑impact initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations.
• Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problems, set direction, drive execution and adoption.
• Strong technical judgment across data, ML, AI, APIs, platforms, and system architecture.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering, data science, and product leaders to shape technical direction and product strategy.
• Strong product judgment across infrastructure and user-facing experiences, building capabilities that solve real problems.
• Deep quantitative fluency with data and causal reasoning to understand problems and measure outcomes.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive execution without direct management authority.
• Experience mentoring PMs and raising product thinking and execution quality.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate strategies and influence diverse audiences.
• High agency, intellectual honesty, curiosity, low-ego, hands-on working style.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-leverage problems that cross teams and establish measurable outcomes.
• Lead major cross‑Risk and cross‑Stripe initiatives from shaping through delivery, adoption, and iteration.
• Lead changes to leveraging data and AI to identify and mitigate risk at scale.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and ML leaders to shape architecture, data foundations, models, APIs, and product experiences.
• Help product teams build on Risk’s capabilities with reusable infrastructure and product decisions.
• Define multi‑year strategy with Risk leadership and invest in key bets and sequencing.
