Job summary

Owen Thomas | B Corp™ is partnering with a YC-backed HealthTech start-up in London seeking Senior & Staff Product Engineers. The role is tech-agnostic across TS, Python, Rust, Go, etc., with ownership from scope to production and a base salary of £100-150K plus equity in a hybrid London setup.

You will design APIs, distributed systems, and AI-enabled features, collaborating with product and design, shaping engineering standards as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong software engineering experience at Senior/Lead/Principal/Staff level.
• Deep expertise in at least one modern language: Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java/Kotlin.
• Strong backend and systems fundamentals; willingness to work across stack.
• Experience building and operating high-quality production software at scale.
• Genuine product engineering mindset focused on users, outcomes and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own complex product problems end-to-end, from discovery through to production.
• Build and scale products used in real-world healthcare environments.
• Design reliable APIs, backend services and distributed systems.
• Work closely with Product and Design, not just predefined tickets.
• Make pragmatic architectural and technology decisions.
