Job description

We’re looking for an ITU Senior Staff Nurse to join our ITU Unit at London Bridge Hospital, rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. Our 24-hour Critical Care Unit provides dedicated, continuous, specialised care to critically ill patients with various medical or surgical conditions. The unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including Consultant Intensivists, Critical Care Resident Medical Officers, and Critical Care Nurses.

As a Senior Staff Nurse, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of the department, support and mentor junior nurses, and lead the unit in the absence of the ITU Sister/Charge Nurse. Your role involves providing bespoke patient care, participating in audits, and contributing to quality improvement projects.
