The candidate must demonstrate competency in extended ED or acute medicine roles, such as patient triaging, wound care, phlebotomy, and cannulation. They should be able to independently coordinate the department, supervise workloads, and teach others. Commitment to supporting national, Trust, and ED strategies is essential.
The post holder will support nurse managers in delivering high-quality care, take responsibility as a named nurse, and provide effective patient care across various clinical settings, adhering to policies and evidence-based practice.
