Job summary

Bank is seeking a Vice President Software Engineer (Staff Engineer) to operate as a senior technical leader across multiple engineering domains. You will work with principal engineers and senior stakeholders to drive technical excellence and improve delivery standards.

You will move across teams and functions, solving complex problems, coaching teams, and shaping engineering practices to raise the bar across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of domain-driven design and cell-based architectures.
• Experience with containerised platforms, AWS, automated testing and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical leader across multiple engineering teams and domains.
• Partner with engineers and leaders to identify opportunities and drive technical excellence.
• Review solutions, provide guidance, and push for delivery improvements and architectural consistency.
• Coach and mentor engineers, while balancing business priorities and risk.
