Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure engineering team responsible for the reliability, automation and performance of critical trading platforms.

You'll work across Linux, distributed systems and production infrastructure, partnering with software engineers to improve resilience, automate operations and solve complex technical challenges at scale.

Qualifications

• 1 to 20 years of SRE/production engineering experience.
• Strong Python or Go programming for automation.
• Experience supporting distributed production systems.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, networking, and CI/CD in an on-prem environment.
• Strong monitoring/observability knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving with an engineering mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve highly available production infrastructure.
• Automate operational processes and eliminate manual tasks.
• Work on complex production, reliability and performance issues.
• Improve monitoring, observability and platform reliability.
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver resilient applications.
