Job summary

Autonomai Recruitment is seeking a C++ SRE Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of critical trading infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. You will work with software engineers, traders and network teams to automate operations and resolve complex production issues.

The role combines hands-on software development with production engineering, performance tuning, and incident response to maintain highly available trading systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ for high-performance trading systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and kernel concepts.
• Experience in SRE practices, incident response and production reliability.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Programming with Python or similar scripting for automation.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and low-latency networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance C++ tools and services for trading platforms.
• Improve reliability and scalability of low-latency production systems.
• Build observability, monitoring, and alerting across applications and infra.
• Investigate complex production issues related to performance and memory.
• Lead or contribute to incident response and root-cause analysis.
