Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Senior Manager - SRE to lead a 3-7 person SRE team within the AIML Data Platforms and Chief Data and Analytics Team.

The role focuses on scaling the AI/ML data platform, developing production-grade solutions, and ensuring reliability in a data-centric cloud environment. You will work in an agile setting, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and drive automated, observable, and secure data platform operations with a focus on data lake tools and enterprise AI

Qualifications

• Experience with SRE principles including SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Leadership of a technically proficient team of SRE engineers.
• Experience with enterprise AI capabilities and data platforms.
• Extensive AWS and Databricks platform administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Site Reliability Engineers and supports critical applications 24x7.
• Implements SRE best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Maintains a managed AWS Databricks platform and supports product teams.
• Drives automation and observability improvements across platforms.
• Collaborates with data science and engineering teams on deployment.
• Develops secure, production-grade code and reviews teammates' code.
• Establishes incident response, postmortems, and root cause analyses.
• Contributes to enterprise AI reliability and data governance initiatives.
