Senior Database Administrator (Senior SQL DBA)

Type: Permanent

Working arrangement: Hybrid (1-3 days in office per week)

About the role

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for MS SQL Server
• Handle Business as Usual (BAU) activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents to meet operational SLAs
• Create, maintain, and govern technical and standards documentation
• Collaborate with Architect, Development, and Support teams to implement and support solutions
• Identify improvement opportunities, coaching, mentoring, supervising, supporting, and training team members

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience with MS SQL Server RDBMS 2019 and higher, including High Availability (AOAG)
• Experience supporting critical 24x7 production infrastructure
• Proficiency with database technologies such as:

Microsoft SQL Server (on-premises and AWS EC2),

• Strong troubleshooting, planning, and risk mitigation skills
• Ability to identify service improvements and efficiencies
• Proficiency in Jira and PowerShell scripting
• Experience with MS SSAS, SSRS, SSIS
