Job Description:

JSS is pleased to partner with a high-growth, scale-up renewable energy business on a newly created role in their lean finance team.

We are seeking a candidate available in less than 1 month with extensive experience in SPV accounting for this senior role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the TopCos by managing and supporting the internal accountant, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Assist investors with financial matters, including monthly reporting.
• Oversee the assistant accountant managing accounts payable and receivable for timely payments and receipts.
• Manage a portfolio of SPVs, supporting external accountants responsible for financial records, management accounts, and annual accounts.
• Conduct monthly reviews of internal consolidations, analyze financial data across entities, and generate insights impacting investor reporting, coordinating with asset management teams.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely submission of quarterly VAT for VAT groups.
• Serve as the primary liaison for banking matters.
• Support the deal team during financial due diligence for acquisitions and investments.
• Assist the Finance Director with compliance and reporting for various debt structures.
• Develop and monitor internal financial controls for efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
• Implement financial systems and software upgrades as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior financial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Dynamics).
• Experience in Real Assets, Infrastructure, or Renewable Energy sectors.
• Familiarity with debt reporting obligations (e.g., project finance, revolving credit facilities).
