Job summary

Moulton College is seeking an ambitious Sports Academy Operations Manager to lead the operational delivery and ongoing development of our growing Sport Academy provision. Working with the Head of Faculty, you will ensure high standards of coaching, performance support and learner experience across all academies.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading or managing sports programmes, academies or performance environments.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience of working with external stakeholders and building successful partnerships.
• A commitment to delivering an exceptional student experience.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and professional standards within education and/or sport.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of all Sports Academy programmes.
• Drive high standards of coaching, performance support and student-athlete development.
• Manage and support academy staff, including employed and sub-contracted personnel.
• Coordinate learner commitments across curriculum and academy provision to enhance attendance, achievement and progression.
• Oversee the effective delivery of Strength & Conditioning, Medical and Sports Therapy, and Performance Analysis services.
• Develop and strengthen partnerships with sports clubs, employers, governing bodies and industry stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for growth, innovation and external funding.
• Support the recruitment, retention and success of student-athletes.
• Promote a culture of excellence, professionalism, inclusion and safeguarding throughout the academy environment.
