Job summary

SCL is seeking an engaging, result‑oriented individual to enhance our reputation with employers and organisations. You will work with the Academy Manager to deliver an outstanding football coaching and sports enrichment programme, align with the Academy philosophy, and support staff in classrooms and events.

You will participate in CPD and mandatory safeguarding and compliance training, helping learners progress toward their next steps and future careers in sport and education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding football coaching and sports enrichment in line with the Academy philosophy.
• Plan, deliver and analyse training sessions as part of the Academy coaching syllabus.
• Support educational staff to drive engagement and achievement in the classroom.
• Aid in managing and organising competitive games programmes.
• Foster holistic development of each learner.

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION

• Work with the Academy Manager to deliver an 'outstanding' football coaching (sports enrichment) programme in line with the Academy philosophy.
• Work alongside Academy staff to plan, deliver and analyse training sessions as part of the Academy coaching syllabus.
• Support education staff to ensure high levels of engagement and achievement in the classroom.
• Assist in the management, delivery and organisation of the competitive games programme.
• Focus on the 'holistic' development of each learner on the programme.
• Support in the delivery of open days, school visits, parents' evenings and other events as part of the Academy recruitment strategy.
• Engage with internal and external CPD opportunities to stay current with best practices.
• Complete all mandatory Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Compliance training.
