Job summary

HCRG Care Group in Guildford is seeking an experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapist to assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based interventions for children with complex needs. You will work with families, carers and the wider children’s workforce to provide tailored support, aiming to improve communication outcomes while integrating flexible shift options and hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Must have recognised SLT degree and HCPC registration.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Knowledge of ASD strategies and interventions.
• Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Experience in NHS settings.
• Driver's licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out school-based assessments as part of MDT for children and young people.
• Provide therapy programs to children, families and carers.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings for specialist advice.
• Plan, supervise and train staff, students and parents/carers.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy across home, clinic and education settings.
• Maintain accurate records per professional and organisational standards.
• Prioritise and manage caseloads, and deputise for Band 7 as required.
