Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to manage a complex caseload at Adderley Green, delivering high-quality, person-centred assessment and intervention within a multidisciplinary setting. You will be responsible for detailed dysphagia assessments, communication and swallowing programmes, and leading therapy groups.

HCPC registration is required, with experience in managing dysphagia caseloads and working with families.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
• Experience working with families.
• Evidence of continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of residents with Speech and Language Therapy needs, delivering assessments and interventions.
• Lead communication-focused therapeutic groups and supervise therapy assistants and carers.
• Provide specialist input to care planning, MDT meetings, and decision-making in multidisciplinary settings.
• Coordinate swallowing programmes, including PEG feeding, with nursing and dietetic teams.
• Support colleagues in delivering individual and group communication and swallowing programmes, and contribute to capacity assessments.
