Brainkind Neurological Centre York seeks a Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist for a fulfilling role in Llanelli at Ty Aberdafen. You will use your expertise to support individuals with acquired brain injury through speech and language therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech & Language Therapy is required.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
• Experience with neurobehavioural approaches in speech and language therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy input within the BIRT Neurobehavioural model.
• Manage a caseload of People We Support with complex needs.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and formulate rehabilitation goals.

Skills

Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in ABI

Knowledge of evidence-based practice

Ability to organise and respond efficiently to complex information

Education

Degree in Speech & Language Therapy

Registered with the HCPC
