Job summary

The Hillingdon Speech and Language Therapy department at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Full Time Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Early Years Team. You will work with pre-school children, families and schools to deliver specialist therapy and support junior colleagues.

You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of national guidelines and contribute to service development, audits and evidence-based practice within CNWL’s supportive

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree with HCPC registration.
• RSCLT membership or eligibility and ongoing professional development.
• Experience with pre school children is desirable.
• Excellent communication and team-working abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop and implement specialist Speech and Language Therapy treatment.
• Provide specialist intervention and evaluate outcomes.
• Demonstrate auditory and perceptual skills in assessment and treatment.
• Engage with professionals, parents and schools to implement care plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed.
