Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a 0.6 WTE Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Hillingdon Early Years team. You will lead on developing projects, supervise junior staff, and work within a supportive Band 7 team to support children with speech, language and communication needs.

The role offers leadership development opportunities and ongoing supervision. Part-time, permanent position based at Woodlands Centre, Uxbridge, with a pro rata salary of £55,524

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration.
• Experience with ADOS assessment and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Ability to lead projects and supervise junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop and implement highly specialist SLT interventions for children 0–19.
• Lead on quality governance, audits and service improvement initiatives.
• Provide safeguarding supervision and ensure compliance with policies.
• Manage caseload and prioritise workload while collaborating with families and schools.
• Mentor junior therapists and contribute to team development.
