Are you a Specification Technologist with experience working with major UK retailers seeking a step-up?

Senior Specification Technologist - Bakery Food Products

Location: Hybrid – 3 days WFO / 2 days WFH

The role:

As the Senior Specification Technologist, you will be responsible for creating product specifications for various retailers, customers, and our own brand across multiple accounts, including high-profile grocery chains and discount retailers. Your duties will include managing retailer systems, ensuring specifications and artwork meet standards and deadlines, approving supplier specifications, and ensuring compliance with retailer codes and food legislation. You will also support the NPD team with nutritional calculations and documentation reviews, contributing to pre and post-launch evaluations to meet KPIs.

Requirements:

• At least 12 months experience in Specification writing within a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of major UK retailer specification systems is essential.
• Strong understanding of retailer requirements and codes of practice.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
