Senior Specification Technologist

Hybrid – 3 days WFO / 2 days WFH

The role:

As the Senior Specification Technologist, your role involves completing product specifications for various retailers, customers, and our own brand across multiple accounts, including high-profile grocery chains and discount retailers. You will manage and administer retailer systems, ensuring all specifications and artwork meet high standards of accuracy and deadlines.

You will approve supplier specifications, ensure compliance with retailer/customer codes of practice and food legislation, support the NPD team with nutritional calculations, cross-check documentation, and contribute to pre and post-launch reviews, ensuring specifications meet KPIs.

You:

• 12 months+ experience in Specification writing for a food manufacturer.
• Knowledge of major UK retailer specification systems is essential.
• Strong understanding of retailer requirements and codes of practice.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
