Overview:

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Specialty Software Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities include:

• Work independently with general supervision.
• Handle difficult but typically not complex problems.
• Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 7+ years relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Certification/Licensure:

No specific certification or licensure requirements.

Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL-T, ETL.
• 7+ years experience with Databricks.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with SQL Server Dedicated Pool (Azure SQL Data Warehouse).
• 5+ years experience with Azure Data Factory.
• 3-5+ years experience writing Python applications.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
