Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Specialty Software Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Works independently with general supervision.
• Handles challenging but typically not complex problems.
• May influence others within the job area through explanations of facts, policies, and practices.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 7+ years relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Certification/Licensure:

No specific certification or licensure requirements.

Experience:

• 7+ years minimum experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL-T, ETL.
• 7+ years Databricks experience.
• 5+ years experience with SQL Server Dedicated Pool (Azure SQL Data Warehouse).
• 5+ years of Azure Data Factory experience.
• 3-5+ years writing Python applications.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
