Job summary

The post requires HCPC registration and post‑registration experience in an acute hospital. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to drive service development and improve patient flow

Qualifications

• Post-registration experience in delivering Occupational Therapy in the acute hospital setting.
• Experience with complex assessment and treatment planning in OT.
• Experience in elderly care, frailty and complex discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist OT assessment and intervention for patients with complex physical, cognitive and social needs.
• Lead service development and supportive supervision within the Therapies team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate safe, timely and person‑centred discharges.
