Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals is seeking a 10 PA Specialist Grade doctor in Community Paediatrics, based mainly at Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children on the St Helier site, with cross-site working encouraged. The post is a replacement and will deliver community paediatric services for the London Boroughs of Merton and Sutton, including neurodevelopmental assessment and management.

There are opportunities to develop subspecialty interests and to participate in safeguarding, education

Qualifications

• Hold a medical qualification or GMC registration.
• MRCP or equivalent higher medical qualification.
• MD or equivalent higher degree or evidence of relevant research.
• Community paediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive clinical service to patients.
• Comply with GMC Good Medical Practice.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Attend corporate induction and mandatory training.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits and education.
• Be medically and managerially accountable for service delivery.
