Job summary

Co-op Group in Manchester is seeking a Space Planning and Merchandising Manager to lead the space planning and merchandising discipline across our stores. You will ensure ranges are easy to shop, align with commercial goals, and drive store-level performance.

The role leads a team, collaborates with cross-functional partners, and delivers outcomes through change management in a hybrid working model.11

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Micro Space Planners, creating an inclusive environment.
• Develop and evolve merchandising principles to support customer, commercial and operational priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build alignment and deliver successful outcomes.
• Identify and remove barriers to progress and enable teams to move work forward.
• Drive continuous improvement in space planning and merchandising capability.
• Ensure multi-channel planograms are delivered accurately and on time.
• Partner with leaders to balance merchandising principles with range, promotions and operations objectives.
• Support projects, trials and new initiatives requiring innovative merchandising approaches.
