Job summary

The University of Edinburgh is seeking a data-led Estates Analyst to join the Estates Development / Corporate Services Group in Edinburgh. This role offers technical and strategic leadership, shaping space intelligence and turning data into insight to support the University's Estates Strategy.

You will develop new analytical approaches, introduce BI and visualization tools, and lead specialist staff. The post is full-time 35 hours per week with open-ended permanent status and potential for

Grade UE08: £50,253 to £61,759 per annum

Estates Development / Corporate Services Group

Full time: 35 hours per week

Open ended: permanent

The Opportunity:

Alongside your technical and strategic responsibilities, you will provide strong people leadership, managing and developing specialist staff and creating a culture where high-quality analysis, innovation and continuous improvement are embedded in the way the team operates.

This is an opportunity to establish and shape a modern, data-led approach to space intelligence. You will have the autonomy and influence to develop new analytical approaches, introduce innovative business intelligence and visualisation tools, and ensure that data becomes a strategic asset in delivering the University's Estates Strategy.

The University holds a significant and complex physical estate, and the quality of the decisions we make about that estate depends increasingly on the quality of the data and insight available to us.
