Job summary

LUSH Covent Garden is seeking a Senior Spa Therapist to support the Store & Spa Manager in delivering the vision and daily operations of the spa. You will lead by example, ensuring every client receives a 5-star experience while driving occupancy, sales and team development.

You will supervise therapists and receptionists, ensure all treatments are available, coordinate training, and act as a brand ambassador upholding LUSH's ethics and commitment to outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy or equivalent in Holistic Therapy, including full-body massage.
• +1 year of practical work experience in a similar role and location performing body massages and facials.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and treatments.
• Passionate about representing the LUSH brand, ethics and products on the shop floor and in the spa.

Responsibilities

• Maximise spa occupancy through effective scheduling and train shop floor teams to promote spa vouchers.
• Support and deliver internal and external spa events and perform treatments in line with business needs (80-90% of contracted hours).
• Ensure all treatments are bookable daily and display availability; maintain spa menus, vouchers, and signage to a high standard.
• Collaborate with local non-spa stores to drive voucher and product sales; train Spa Ambassadors locally.
• Lead from the front to deliver exceptional spa and shop floor experiences and increase spa product sales.
• Provide training to receptionists; assist recruitment and onboarding for therapists and spa apprentices.
• Oversee rota management, booking adjustments, absence management, and maintain high standards across treatment rooms and back-of-house areas.
