Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment supports a luxury venue in North Leicestershire in recruiting a Sous Chef to work under an Executive Chef. You’ll assist in serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for around 200 covers per service and contribute to a modern British, seasonal menu.

The role features a 39-hour week, salary of £35k, and comprehensive staff benefits including parking, gratuities, free meals, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator.
• Experience as a Sous at a large hotel or similar venue.
• Strong financial awareness and controls.
• Track record of kitchen management.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the General Manager and Executive Head Chef.
• Produce award-winning food with a modern British local and seasonal menu.
• Manage, coach, train and develop the brigade and especially junior chefs.
• Run service in Head Chef's absence.
