The Walcot Group Limited is seeking a strong, hands-on Senior Sous Chef to lead the kitchen alongside the Head Chef. You’ll run the pass, mentor junior chefs, manage prep, and ensure every plate hits the mark.

With proven Sous Chef experience in a busy, fresh-food kitchen, you’ll lead by example, keep morale high, and drive standards across Walcot Group venues, including Walcot House and Solina.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a busy, fresh-food kitchen.
• Natural leader who stays calm under pressure and is happy to muck in on any section.
• Solid grasp of the operating side—ordering, stock control, and food hygiene.
• Real pride in your food, developing your team, and running a tight, happy service.

Responsibilities

• Run the pass and mentor junior chefs.
• Manage prep and ensure every plate hits the mark.

• Step in to run the kitchen on the Head Chef's days off or during busy services.
