The role |

You will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. Your responsibilities include coaching and developing your team to their full potential, driving restaurant performance, and ensuring excellent results.

What you |

  • Focus on creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team training.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working closely with the head chef on recruitment and development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, able to make quick, effective decisions.

What we look for |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food safety and health & safety.
  • Financial acumen regarding kitchen performance, including GP and stock management.
  • Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage the team, fostering their growth and development.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful environment where everyone belongs.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt.
