The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

Responsibilities |

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Manage kitchen standards, including food safety, health and safety, and financial performance metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build and sustain a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef to recruit and develop team members.
  • Quickly resolve problems with a forward-thinking approach.

What we look for |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with quick decision-making abilities.
