The Role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to achieve excellence while driving restaurant performance and delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities |

• Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent, role-modeling a coaching culture within the management team.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skill development.
• Maintain impeccable food safety, health, and safety standards; understand financial metrics such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build and sustain a strong team through effective recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills, making quick and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

What We Look For |

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, with a focus on performance and positive leadership in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to have genuine, considerate conversations that support team members.
• Proven ability to uphold food, health, and safety standards.
• Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
• Experience managing labour costs and adapting to changing demands.
