The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be a leader who fosters a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support coaching and developing your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What you will do |

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an outstanding guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Manage kitchen standards, including food safety, health & safety, and financial performance such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Lead recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Solve problems proactively, making quick and effective decisions.

What we look for |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a caring and supportive approach.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health & safety standards, and financial management in a kitchen setting.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, promoting inclusivity and respect.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
