Role Overview

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team, driving restaurant performance, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with your team with care and consideration.
  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards in food safety, health, and safety.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit, stock, and labour management.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate your team to excel and grow.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
  • Forward-thinking and adaptable problem-solving skills.
