Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and effective Senior Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious location in High Wycombe. This is a 7-day operation with a shift pattern of 5 days out of 7, catering to approximately 1050 students and staff daily at a private girls' boarding and day school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food service areas for daily meal services.
  • Ensure prompt and standards-compliant service of meals.
  • Prepare, set-up, serve, and clean food and beverage items.
  • Follow hygiene and safety standards in food preparation and service.
  • Restock and replenish supplies during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Assist in ordering and stock management.
  • Adhere to health & safety regulations.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.
General Responsibilities:
  • Attend staff meetings and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
  • Carry out health and safety checks.
  • Provide cover for colleagues when needed.
Personal Skills and Attributes:
