Job Description:

AsSenior Sous Chef, you will serve as the right hand to the Head Chef, ensuring seamless kitchen operationsandintegratingthe best practices you have learnt during your career.

The Senior Sous Chef will lead the kitchen from the main pass,guidingthe team through busy services ensuringevery dish meets ourhigh standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistwith wastage, GP & Labour controls.
  • Assistin scheduling, staffing, and performance management of kitchen personnel.
  • Ensurethatevery dishin preparedandexecutedto the highest standards.
  • Ensuring correct prep levels by our dedicated prep team.
  • Ensuring deliveries and stock are put away correctly by the Goods Receiver.
  • Precise ordering to ensure full menu availability and minimum wastage.
  • Ensuring every service is the best it can be.
  • Lead the team through positive andconstructivemethods.
  • Looking after staff wellbeing.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff tomaintainhigh food standards.
  • Pioneera positive work environment and fostering teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Previousexperience as aSeniorSous Chefor similar rolein a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for quality.
  • Leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of EBITDA& GP.
  • UnderstandingPnL’sto make positive cutsincreasingoverall profit.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
