Job summary

Hickory's Smokehouse in Liverpool is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to run our bespoke kitchen in the Head Chef's absence and help develop our authentic BBQ menu.

You will lead a brigade of BBQ enthusiasts, drive quality and consistency, and contribute to ongoing training and career progression within our award-winning team.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a busy kitchen.
• Proven ability to manage a kitchen team.
• Strong BBQ cooking and grill skills.

Responsibilities

• Run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.

We're looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our passionate brigade of BBQ enthusiasts. You will be responsible for running our bespoke kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, and in doing so you will be working towards becoming a Head Chef yourself. You will be working with and leading the team to deliver our authentic, fresh food-based BBQ menu in one of the busiest restaurants in town.
