Job summary

The role requires degree- and postgrad ultrasound qualification with state registration (HCPC/NMC or RCT). You will work independently, write reports, and help train clinicians in a dynamic imaging service.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with post graduate ultrasound qualification.
• Must be state registered (HCPC/NMC) or Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT).
• Experience in wide range of ultrasound techniques and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Write concise, accurate ultrasound reports and countersign for trainees.
• Provide practical and theoretical ultrasound training and support service development.
• Continuously develop professional ultrasound skills and maintain high examination standards.
• Work independently and handle high-pressure, emotive environments.
• Contribute to audits and development of imaging protocols.
