Job summary

WRK digital is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable software solutions across complex enterprise environments. This hands-on role focuses on application architecture, software solution design, and system integration, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to drive architectural governance from discovery through delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar senior role.
• Strong background in application architecture and software solution design.
• Experience designing integration solutions and API-led architectures.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working with software engineering and delivery teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading solution architecture across strategic programmes.
• Running architecture workshops, discovery sessions, and solution reviews.
• Translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable solutions.
• Producing solution designs, architecture documentation, and technical decision records.
• Working closely with engineering and delivery teams to guide implementation.
• Providing architectural oversight across applications, integrations, cloud, and data solutions.
• Identifying technical risks and supporting governance activities.
