Job summary

Archer, in partnership with JPMorganChase, seeks a Lead Solution Architect to design and govern enterprise-scale architectures across data, information, and technical domains.

You will coordinate with Business Operations, Product Management, and Technology to deliver secure, scalable solutions, leveraging AI-enabled practices and industry-standard patterns across the Securities Services platforms.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering or architecture concepts.
• Hands-on solution architecture across functional, information and technical dimensions.
• Knowledge of microservices, cloud resiliency, data persistence and data streaming.
• Understanding of data architecture options: ODS, Data Lake, DCAT, OLTP/OLAP.
• Proficiency in AI, machine learning applied to architecture or software engineering.
• OO languages: Java, Python, or C++, with XML/JSON and SQL/Oracle/Cassandra tech.
• Strong domain knowledge in Financial Services, including trading middle office and custody.
• Experience in lean/agile development, CI/CD, and governance processes.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills across business and tech stakeholders.
• Ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring security and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to articulate requirements as secure, robust solutions.
• Apply AI tools to improve architecture practices and documentation.
• Ensure conformance with architecture patterns and governance bodies.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on designs and credentials.
• Design end-to-end architectures for enterprise-scale platforms and data models.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational stability and solution quality.
• Advocate architecture best practices through presentations and workshops.
• Leverage AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation and data handling safeguards.
